Living room in Only YOU Hotel Atocha
The hotel was perfectly situated for an overnight stop whilst travelling from southern Spain to France as it is right opposite Madrid Atocha station. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and we appreciated the glass of cava that was offered. We booked a superior room, not the largest but perfect for one night. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom and excellent shower. The breakfast buffet was the most extensive we have ever seen, eggs could also be cooked to order. We ate in the restaurant on the 7th floor in the evening - delicious food and friendly staff plus live music (female singer with a lovely voice and guitarist).

This hotel is good value for money. Its services and rooms are of a high standard. It is superbly located for the main railway station and well located for museums and access to the centre of Madrid. Our room (on the fifth floor) was attractive, quite spacious, and very quiet and clean. The bed was excellent. There was a good bathroom and a large shower. The breakfast is excellent - and so was the Septima restaurant in the hotel (not always a given!). There was just one odd drawback: when we asked for extra hangers for our wardrobe, the hotel was unable to supply them. Nevertheless. the hotel is highly recommended.

The hotel is elegant but not stuffy. The room was spacious and well laid out, with large windows overlooking the Atocha station and multiple roads that intersect there. There was great lighting in the room, which is unusual for hotels, including good reading lights by the head of the bed. There was a nice welcome plate of cheese and jamon, and the breakfast included a wonderful spread of pretty much everything you might want. The hotel is also well-located, within walking distance of great museums, El Retiro Park, and central Madrid. I would be happy to stay there again.

The accommodations were very nice. A large, comfortable bed, the room was quiet, the shower was large, with warm water and high pressure. The cleaning staff was very thorough. The front desk staff were very attentive and kind. The ground floor had a surprisingly diverse group of merchants, even including a very affordable barber. On a rainy day, they provided a complimentary umbrella for the day. The dining room on the top floor was comfortable, with a good selection of items for breakfast. The view at night was pleasant.

The dedication of the staff to fulfilling the needs of their clients and making them feel like truly honored guests was striking, and it very likely reflects a priority of the brand's corporate culture. The location within an easy, short walk to Madrid's main train station and the terminus of the easiest bus transfer from the airport would be hard to beat. My room was of generous size and impeccably clean. The breakfast was very good and served in the dining room on the top floor with great view of the city.
